Paleo is often referred to as the caveman diet, because the basic goal is to eat like your ancestors. You want to eat like a hunter or a gatherer, but not a farmer.

The easiest way to stay Paleo compliant is to ask yourself if your Paleolithic ancestors had access to the food you’re about to eat.

There weren’t any fast food restaurants, or factories processing foods for them. They had to hunt for meat or gather fruits and vegetables.

This eliminates much of the convenient fast food clogging your arteries, but includes most meats, whole fruits and vegetables.
